RADICAL SELF-CARE REQUIRES RADICAL COMMITMENT

Self-care coaching is a collaborative process designed to bring about transformation, awareness, and self-empowerment. Clients will develop the tools and resources to create practices and rituals that will authentically nourish mind, body, and spirit. Together, we will seriously disrupt unhealthy patterns of thinking and in doing so, create the types of behaviors that will radically sustain and ground you. I am fiercely passionate about this work because I am proof of it's power.

THE IMPORTANCE OF SELF-CARE

In today's hyper-connected and inherently traumatic world, we are inundated with messages and experiences that inform how we should feel, think, act, and be. Women, in particular, are taught that she is to take care of others above taking care of herself, and if she doesn't, she is weak, selfish, and unworthy. This is simply not true. On the contrary, when we disregard ourselves and our needs, we become deeply disconnected and lead fragmented lives. Worst still, because this disconnection begins at an early age, most women have NO IDEA what practices authentically nourish us and makes us feel whole. 

wHAT TO EXPECT

I work from a belief that you are the expert on your life and increased awareness can elevate your ability to do what's best for you in any situation. This client-centered, strengths-based approach leaves no room for hierarchies or power dynamics that can get in the way of our collaborative work. 

As your coach, I will be your biggest advocate. We will dream together, figure out how to turn those dreams into actionable items, and mitigate the roadblocks that may get in your way. We will build upon your inherent talents and strengths, and create new mindsets and habits that will make self-care a non-negotiable part of your lifestyle.  I will hold space, gently guide you through the hard, but necessary questions, and sit with you through the vulnerability, courage and strength required for transformative shifts. 

Depending on your style and interests, you can expect personalized journaling prompts, resources on setting rituals and practices for yourself, meditations, and/or discussions on work/life integration, intentions, etc. Our discovery session is the perfect time to discuss how to integrate your style with my offerings.

This coaching package includes:

  • Four 45-60 min sessions, which meets every week. We can meet via Skype, Google Hangouts, or other platform

  • A discovery session (30 min) at the beginning to set intentions and goals for our time together

  • A close out session (30 min) at the end of our time together to check in on those goals

  • Homework and/or resources sent after every session, usually to be discussed during the sessions

  • Personalized weekly email/text support

  • One optional 30-min Skype/Google Hangout check-in 2 weeks after our engagement to ensure you are sustaining yourself and your practices

 

This coaching package includes:

  • Four 45-60 min sessions, which meets every week. We can meet via Skype, Google Hangouts, or other platform

  • Two 60-min private personalized Vinyasa-style, trauma-informed yoga classes tailored to you, including meditation practices and breathing techniques. Classes take place at Sweet Water Dance and Yoga or at another appropriate alternative space (NYC ONLY)

  • A discovery session (30 min) at the beginning to set intentions and goals for our time together

  • A close out session (30 min) at the end of our time together to check in on those goals

  • Homework and/or resources sent after every session, usually to be discussed during the sessions

  • Personalized weekly email/text support

  • One optional 30-min Skype/Google Hangout check-in 2 weeks after our engagement to ensure you are sustaining yourself and your practices
