Josie is a masterful facilitator of powerful transformations.

Her superpower lies in weaving the seen and unseen to dissolve wounds into wisdom in service of healing families and shifting lineages.

This skill has been passed down and sharpened from her lived and professional experiences: as a bilingual and bicultural Black Dominican-American womxn, family & couples therapist and descendent of healers, Josie knows how to trade inherited patterns of suffering for an intentionally curated legacy.

Josie’s medicine is for disruptors and cycle breakers who are committed to leaving things better than they found it, with a special interest in supporting mothers heal the ancestral wounds that manifest as maternal injuries (also known as mother wounds).

A proud New York City native and daughter of immigrants, Josie is an award-winning, two-time graduate of Columbia University, having graduated with distinction from the School of Social Work. She’s also an alumna of the highly selective Social Work and Diversity Program at the renowned Ackerman Institute for the Family, where she also graduated from its 4-year couples and family therapy certification program.

When she’s not holding space for others’ transformation or sharing belief-shifting content, you can find her traveling, hiking, or expressing her love through cooking.
