I’m Josie, a writer, licensed couples therapist, and a descendant of healers in the 21 Divisiones tradition from the Dominican Republic.

I believe relationships are where we’re made and unmade - the alpha and omega of our lives - and as such, it is our duty to love well and do relationships better. We deserve to be deeply resourced in that pursuit. Insight and skill help us get there, but without rituals and ancient wisdom tools, it doesn’t stick long enough to become our legacy.

Divination and mediumship are inherited gifts, and astrology and tarot are my tools of choice. When you sit with me, I’m not just reading planets, signs, or cards.

My Philosophy on Spiritual Readings, Work, & Rituals

Readings are a form of spiritual maintenance.

Done with consistency and intention, they help you evolve with more ease and less obstacles. But the point is not to depend on them. Spiritual readings or advisement will never replace your relationship with Spirit, yourself, or spiritual court.

In fact, the more devoted you become to a practice that is your own, the more your relationship to readings change. They become less about revelation and more about accompaniment: a space to confirm what you already sense, sharpen your discernment, and walk forward with support.

Do I need my exact birth time for an AstroTarot reading?

Yes. Your birth chart is calculated from the exact moment you arrived, and even a small error in birth time can shift key placements. If you’re unable to access your exact birth time, it might be worth sourcing someone who does chart rectification or you can book a Tarot Consulta as an alternative.

What’s the difference between your three offers?

A Consulta is quick and situational — you bring something specific that's alive right now, and the cards speak to that moment. An AstroTarot reading is the foundation — your chart and the cards read together, so you understand how you're built for love and what's moving in it. Devoción is the ongoing relationship — it holds you over time months, with personalized support and deep access, so you can let love in as the person you’ve become. Come for a Consulta when something's alive, an AstroTarot reading when you want the full picture, and Devoción when you want me in your corner for a season.

Can I ask if someone is my person?

No. I don't do love readings in the sense of confirming a specific person's role in your life or predicting a relationship's outcome. What I can offer is insight into your own patterns, wiring, and what's true for you, which often illuminates the relationship question far better than a yes-or-no ever could.
