Relate Better.

For individuals who want to

You've built a life that looks put-together from the outside, managing responsibilities and showing up as capable in your various roles. While you navigate the world with competence, there's a growing awareness that your relationships - whether with a parent, friends, partners, or even yourself - don't feel as fulfilling as you sense they could be.

You find yourself repeating patterns in relationships, perhaps choosing similar partners, encountering the same conflicts with family members, or maintaining friendships that don't quite meet your deeper needs for connection.

You're yearning for relationships where you can be both strong and vulnerable, where connection feels natural rather than forced, and where you don't have to compromise essential parts of yourself to maintain harmony with others.

Go Deeper.

For couples who want to

You’ve built a good life together, but you’re longing for depth and dynamism in your emotional connection with your partner. For many couples like you, this emotional distance is one of the most difficult challenges you’ve faced.

Though you're both working hard to make it work, communication feels strained, and deeper connection seems just out of reach. You may find yourselves avoiding hard conversations or unsure of how to break through emotional discomfort without pulling away.

Or perhaps, what was once a vibrant connection now feels like it's been replaced by parallel lives, living side by side but not truly integrated with each other, leaving you both feeling out of sync.

You love each other deeply, but know that love alone won’t lead to the type of relationship you want, where you are seen deeply and nourished by each other.

Heal Together.

For families that want to

You are the bridge builders: the “buffer” generation, standing between inherited stories and uncharted futures, navigating the complex terrain of family legacy with courage and intention.

Or perhaps you're a parent who senses the distance growing between you and your adult child, and you’re yearning to understand their world, their language of healing, and their need for boundaries.

Either way, you recognize something is shifting, and despite the discomfort, you're willing to step into unfamiliar territory to preserve what matters most: your relationship.

Whether you're an adult child bridging generational gaps, a parent longing to truly understands their adult child, or siblings healing generational pain together, you understand that healing is an act of radical love.

Note: At this time, my family work focuses on supporting adult children and their parents or adult siblings.

Why I Guide This Work

Like many, I built a successful professional life, but my personal world didn’t match.

I navigated relationships, with myself, partners, and family, that didn't reflect the connection I deeply desired. I found myself repeating patterns that distanced me from the intimacy I longed for, often without understanding why. Through my personal healing, I discovered how these patterns were connected to the early relationship blueprints I'd inherited.

I also learned that the wounds we carry aren't just personal, they're ancestral. The ways we struggle to connect, to trust, to be seen authentically, run deeper than our individual stories. They're woven into the fabric of our families, our communities, and our lineages.

As a descendant of healers in the 21 Divisiones tradition, I carry forward an ancient lineage of spiritual wisdom from the Dominican Republic rooted in West African Vodun. It teaches that healing also happens in the spaces between the physical and spiritual. Through this knowing and my abilities as a spiritual medium, I see and feel the energies that exist beyond the surface of our conversations, revealing wisdom needed for profound healing.

This inheritance, combined with my training as a certified family and couples therapist from Columbia University and the Ackerman Institute, and nearly a decade of working relationally with folks, creates a really unique and rare container for transformation, and informs my approach.

If you’re open to the magic of this work, you’ll be transformed. You’ll shed who you’ve had to become to survive and unfurl into who you’ve always been.

Perhaps most importantly, you’ll heal those who couldn’t, and become a model of possibility for those who come after you.

My Approach

I blend modern therapy with ancient wisdom to access the root of your challenges and metabolize them into clarity that propels you forward.

Therapeutically, I approach healing from a systemic-relational lens, so we'll explore how your relationships, family of origin, and larger societal systems shape your sense of self, connections with others, and how you move in the world.

My approach also integrates tools like astrology, breathwork, tarot, and spiritual mediumship to access the spiritual support that's already available, waiting to help you.

Real change happens when you work with both your practical challenges and the spiritual forces that shape your path, addressing what's happening in your daily life and behind the veil.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Absolutely. This work transforms all relationships, including the one with yourself, which is the foundation for every other connection in your life. Whether you're navigating family dynamics, friendships, professional relationships, or preparing for future romantic partnerships, the patterns we address directly impact how you connect with others. Many clients find that this work creates a powerful foundation of self-understanding that eventually attracts relationships aligned with their authentic self rather than their protective patterns.

  • It's common for partners to enter therapy with different levels of readiness or enthusiasm. Part of our work together will include creating a safe space where both of you can engage at your own pace. That said, the most powerful change happens when both partners are willing to examine their contributions to relationship patterns. I can help navigate different commitment levels while respecting where each of you is in your journey.

  • Yes. As someone who has navigated deep wounds in my own family relationships, I understand how overwhelming it can feel to address long-standing pain. The journey isn't about erasing the past but recognizing that love can exist alongside pain. Our work together honors both the difficult history and the possibility for transformation. Even relationships marked by years of disconnection can evolve into something more nuanced and generous when approached with courage and compassionate guidance.

  • There are still meaningful ways to work on your relationship even when the other person isn't ready or willing to participate. Many clients find that when they shift their own patterns, their relationships naturally begin to transform, even without the other person's direct participation in therapy. I’d recommend reaching out about individual therapy, honoring both your desire for change and the reality of where others are in their journey.

  • Weekly, virtually or in person in Brooklyn, NY. In order to build a meaningful working relationship and build momentum around your desired transformation, expect to meet weekly. Note that biweekly and monthly sessions are reserved for existing clients who are approaching the end of our work together and are tapering off their session frequency.

  • It depends. Healing takes time and looks different for everyone. While meaningful progress can happen in a few months, lasting change typically takes longer. I see individuals for a minimum of 3 months to develop a strong therapeutic relationship and give you time to practice what you learn in session. Many folks experience significant breakthroughs between 12-18 months of consistent weekly sessions.
