Heal Together.

Specialized support for adult children and their parents, and adult siblings

You are the bridge builders.

The “buffer” generation, standing between inherited stories and uncharted futures, navigating the complex terrain of family legacy with courage and intention.

You're breaking silences that have echoed through generations, finding words where before there was only unspoken tension.

Break the Silence and the Cycle.

These are not simple conversations. They are reclamations.

You may be the first in your family to name what hasn't been named, and articulate the unspoken patterns that have shaped your family's emotional landscape.

Or perhaps you're a parent who senses the distance growing between you and your adult child, and you’re yearning to understand their world, their language of healing, and their need for boundaries.

Either way, you recognize something is shifting, and despite the discomfort, you're willing to step into unfamiliar territory to preserve what matters most: your relationship.

Whether you're a daughter or son challenging gender-based, generational scripts, an adult child bridging generational gaps, or a family member navigating transitions in identity and purpose, you understand that healing is an act of radical love.

The Inherited Landscape

Family isn't just blood. It's a complex ecosystem of stories, survival strategies, and unspoken agreements.

Every conversation carries the weight of what came before: the sacrifices, the adaptations, the choices made for survival. For adult children, the expectations laid down by previous generations may clash with their emerging sense of self.

For parents, there's the challenge of honoring their own upbringing while understanding their adult child's different path.

Instead of rejecting roots, this transformation deepens understanding to forge a path that honors both where you've come from and where you're each going.

In our work, we'll explore the intricate threads that connect your family's past to your present, and create space for both the wisdom of experience and the insight of new awareness.

There's room for individual and collective growth without severing the profound connections that sustain you, regardless of which generation initiated this journey.

I know this path well.

My mother—a woman of fierce survival, complex love, and unyielding resilience—carried the weight of migration, sacrifice, and unspoken traumas.

As a second-generation daughter born to an immigrant mother, our relationship became a landscape of intense rupture, marked by deep wounds from my childhood that reverberated through years of disconnection and painful attempts to understand each other.

I learned early that our relationship was never simple. The cultural expectations, the unprocessed generational pain, the stark differences in our experiences of survival and belonging created a chasm that seemed, for years, impossible to bridge.

Our first therapy sessions were battlegrounds of unspoken grief. Raw. Uncomfortable. Necessary.

Twenty years of intentional healing has transformed what was once a relationship defined by hurt into something more nuanced, more generous. Through my personal work, I've created space that allowed aspects of our relationship to shift. It’s not perfect. Not always easy. But deeply human.

I've learned that healing is not about erasing the past, but about cultivating a different kind of understanding, and recognizing the love that exists alongside the pain.

This is why I specialize in the intricate dance of parent and adult child/children relationships, particularly for immigrant and first-generation families. I have a soft spot for working with mothers and daughters with challenging relationships.

I know, viscerally and clinically, what's possible when we choose courage over silence.

The Impossible is Possible.

Transformation lives, not in grand gestures, but in the subtle moments that once seemed impossible.

Healing doesn't look like what you've been told it should.

Imagine a conversation where silence transforms into understanding, where a parent whose cultural script never included vulnerability, now sitting quietly with your tears instead of dismissing them.

Or, siblings who fought bitterly for decades now standing together through a parent's illness, finding strength in their shared history.

These are the moments of radical transformation that are available to you through our work together.

Instead of striving for perfection, we'll create space for something more honest, more real than anyone in your family lineage has ever experienced. Your healing ripples far beyond this moment, touching ancestors who never had the language, and equipping future generations who will inherit your courage.

This is how you break cycles, and become the bridge.

Investment

$325/session

Therapy is an investment that makes everything in your life work better.

The patterns you're ready to break have had an expensive emotional cost, but that can change. Imagine what becomes possible for you when peace, instead of pain, shapes your relationships and choices.

We’ll begin our work with a deep exploration of your family dynamics, including astrological and ancestral mapping, and leverage those insights in our weekly sessions (up to 90 min) to help you achieve your goals.

Frequently Asked Questions

I specialize in relational therapy for couples and families, and see individuals on a case-by-case basis. If you’re interested in individual therapy, please reach out!

  • There are still meaningful ways to work on your relationship even when the other person isn't ready or willing to participate. Many clients find that when they shift their own patterns, their relationships naturally begin to transform, even without the other person's direct participation in therapy. I’d recommend reaching out about individual therapy, honoring both your desire for change and the reality of where others are in their journey.

  • Yes. As someone who has navigated deep wounds in my own family relationships, I understand how overwhelming it can feel to address long-standing pain. The journey isn't about erasing the past but recognizing that love can exist alongside pain. Our work together honors both the difficult history and the possibility for transformation. Even relationships marked by years of disconnection can evolve into something more nuanced and generous when approached with courage and compassionate guidance.

  • Multigenerational and complex family systems are my specialty. I create a therapeutic environment where each family member's voice and experience is valued, regardless of age or role. By understanding how patterns have been transmitted across generations, we can identify both the protective adaptations that served your family in the past and the aspects that may no longer be helpful. This perspective allows us to honor your family's history while creating new possibilities for relating that better serve all members in the present.

  • Yes. While having all key family members participate is ideal, meaningful change can occur even when working with a subset of the family system. When family members who are ready for change begin to shift their patterns, it often creates a ripple effect that influences the entire system. Additionally, understanding your family patterns can be transformative even if other members aren't ready to engage in that exploration. We'll work with whoever is present while honoring the influence and importance of those who aren't.

  • While I don't accept insurance directly, you may be reimbursed 60-80% of session costs through your out-of-network benefits depending on your plan. Use this benefits checker to see how much your plan will cover.

  • Virtually and weekly. In order to build a meaningful working relationship and build momentum around your desired transformation, expect to meet weekly.

Biweekly and monthly sessions are reserved for existing clients who are approaching the end of our work together and are tapering off their session frequency.

In-person sessions are available on case-by-case basis.

  • It depends. Healing takes time, and looks differently for everyone. I see clients for a minimum of 3 months, and many experience significant breakthroughs between 12-18 months of consistent weekly sessions.
